Restart
So I haven’t blogged in over a year.
I updated my gallery website and won’t be using liveBooks anymore (way to expensive).
In the past year I’ve:
- Shot 3 weddings (yikes)
- Shot a Tulsa Tough for real this time (3 days of tired)
- Had to buy 3 more hard drive to store photos (why didn’t I just buy the 2TB drive to begin with?)
- Created an Oklahoma Cycling calendar, and marketing packet (amazing, going to do it again next year too)
- Shot another race at cowskin creek (beautiful place)
- Read a lot of books about photons and optics
- Started, and finished a photo project about diabetes (25years.net)
- and gotten excited about doing new things in new places.
It’s not like I wasn’t doing anything. I just wasn’t blogging about it.
2010 Oklahoma State Criterium
I’m pretty bad about updating things, this blog included, but I’m finally getting around to updating about the Oklahoma State Criterium from 2 weekends ago. I wanted to write this post before Tulsa Tough started this weekend! Short version: click here to see a slideshow. Click here for a large gallery with all the races. Click “read more” to read the longer version. (more…)
Homemade Panoramic Camera
This weekend I finished making the first panoramic camera and got a chance to shoot some film in it. Overall the results were less than desirable but I learned a lot from the process and I think I’m going to keep working on building more homemade cameras. The shot I was taking above appears in the left frame on the picture below.
